This formula can be added to vinegar to clean surfaces, or it can be used undiluted in a vapouriser or cold-air diffuser to sanitise the environment. Diffuse 10 drops, for 15 minutes in the morning and evening.
The Four Thieves [or Grave Robbers] Blend
- 20 drops Clove bud [Eugenia caryophyllus]
- 60 drops Lemon [Citrus limon]
- 20 drops Cinnamon leaf [Cinnamomum zeylanicum]
- 40 drops Eucalyptus [Eucalyptus radiata]
- 40 drops Rosemary [Rosmarinus officinalis ct verbenone]
- 10 drops Oregano [Origanum compactum or heracleoticum]
- 50 drops Ravintsara [Cinnamomum camphora ct cineole]
To prevent illness during the winter season, a few drops of The Four Thieves blend can be used topically daily, as it has strong antiviral and antibacterial properties that are great for preventing or combating colds, ‘flu and infections. It is best applied on the soles of the feet where the skin is thicker, as clove and cinnamon oils can cause skin irritation if used undiluted on sensitive skin.
Mix up a batch consisting of 5 ml of the concentrate in 20 ml of jojoba carrier oil and apply a few drops to each foot daily for a potent treatment. Please make sure the oils used are top quality, complete and very fresh when using them regularly.
